According to Deadline‘s reports, a documentary about the life of late actor Paul Walker is in the works. The documentary will be produced by cable channel Paramount Network and Derik Murray, known for the documentary I Am Heath Ledger. Director of the documentary about Heath Ledger, Adrian Buitenhuis, will take the same role this time as well. The official title of the documentary will be I Am Paul Walker.

According to producers, the documentary will feature interviews with Walker’s friends as well as his castmates who worked with him during his career. I Am Paul Walker will also explore “Walker’s prolific film career and also showcase, among other things, the actor’s passion for the world’s oceans and marine life and his work to help rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake.” The remaining details about the project will be revealed in the next couple of months.

Paul Walker died in a car crash in 2013, aged 40. Although he was featured in numerous movies during his career, Walker remains best known for his role of Brian O’Conner in The Fast and the Furious franchise. His other prominent works include movies She’s All That, Varsity Blues, Eight Below, Running Scared, and Takers.
