Peaky Blinders creators Steven Knight has shared some interesting information about season six of the show.

The sixth and final season of the British gang drama is one of the most highly-anticipated TV events of the year. Knight has been keeping details on the upcoming season under wraps, until now.

Speaking in an interview on the official Peaky Blinders website, Knight teased that the new season will explore the “supernatural” elements to the show. If you are up to date with the show, you’ll know that gypsy curses and psychic visions are not entirely new territory for the Shelby clan.

“I also like the supernatural element. ‘Is Tommy cursed?’ In other words, is everything predestined, are lives already mapped out? Do you have free will or not?” Knight said in the interview.

“Tommy sometimes feels that he doesn’t because it seems that everything is destined to stop him or move him in a particular direction. It’s the same with the whole family. I explore that more in the next series.”

Peaky Blinders season 6 has an expected release date of summer 2021.
