Pete Davidson left Saturday Night Live last year, and he’s getting ready to return to 30 Rock in style. He’ll come back to host the May 6 episode of the popular sketch comedy, after serving as one of its cast members for seven seasons.

Davidson will return to his old comic stomping grounds next month, and the musical guest for his episode is yet to be announced. He’s most likely coming back to promote his upcoming series Bupkis, which will premiere on May 4 on Peacock, with SNL creator Lorne Michaels serving as its producer.

Davidson’s return will be interesting to watch, considering he recently revealed it wasn’t always fun to see the show poking fun at his private life.

“I’ll be sitting in the back watching the cold open and topical political humor or whatever in the culture, and they’re making fun of you and you gotta walk out and do a sketch next and hit your mark [and] the show just made fun of you, so why [is the audience] going to laugh at you? They just dogged you,” said Davidson on Real Ones with Jon Bernthal.

In addition to leading Bupkis, Davidson will also star in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Dumb Money later this year.
