Pitbull and Blake Shelton are probably two artists you’ve never imagined working together, but they joined forces in the music video for the new song “Get Ready” — and it’s the best of both worlds.

The video for the single opens with the two stars hanging out at a ranch, before making their way to a country club. After having a classic Nashville experience, Mr. Worldwide decides to show Shelton how they do it in Miami and the video goes into his comfort zone — a 24/7 party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida.

Pitbull and Shelton came up with the idea to collaborate when they performed together in Oregon. After learning that Shelton’s dog was named after Ram Jam’s “Black Betty,” the duo decided to use a sample of this classic track in their new single “Get Ready”.

The song is featured on Pitbulls’ latest album Libertad 548, along with several other notable collaborations. Becky G, Daddy Yankee, Flo Rida, and Ne-Yo are only some of the artists who made an appearance on this album.
