Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith was one of the most anticipated records of the summer, and its success on the charts was easy to predict. Faith debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the late rapper’s second record to do so.

Pop Smoke’s second LP hit the shelves on July 16th, four days before what would have been his 22nd birthday. It soared to the top of Billboard 200 with 88,000 equivalent album units earned during its first tracking week on the chart, and it was closely followed by John Mayer’s Sob Rock.

Faith was supported by the lead single “Demeanor” featuring Dua Lipa, but this isn’t the only A-list collaboration on this album. Many of Pop Smoke’s fellow hip-hop artists honored him by working on this album, including Kanye West, 21 Savage, Future, Chris Brown, Pharrell, and Kodak Black.

Faith is Pop Smoke’s second album to reach the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, following his tragic death in 2020. His posthumously released debut studio album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon also debuted atop this chart, with all the tracks from this record making it to the Billboard Hot 100.
