Post Malone’s new album Hollywood’s Bleeding debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, and kept on returning to no. 1. After topping the chart for the fifth time, it became the first record in over a year to accomplish this task.

Hollywood’s Bleeding came out on September 6th, and immediately asserted chart dominance. 489,000 album-equivalent units were sold during its first week, making this the second best debut of the year.

This album returned to the no. 1 spot several more times, and this is its fifth week topping the Billboard 200. It’s been over a year since Drake managed to do the same with his album Scorpion, the only difference being that he spent five consecutive weeks on the top.

Several songs from Hollywood’s Bleeding also found enormous success on Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Swae Lee collaboration “Sunflower” from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse topped the chart before this album even came out, while “Wow” and “Circles” both peaked at no. 2.
