It’s been less than a year since Post Malone topped the charts around the world with his third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding, and its follow-up is on the way.

Post Malone recently discussed his new music with Wall Street Journal, and said he’s trying to “write songs about what’s going on currently.” He’s trying to make something beautiful out of “the darkest of times”, and hopefully uplift people’s spirit with his new music.

“I want to make an album that will uplift and show that people are not alone in their times of loneliness and worry and that at the end of the day we all just need to show love to everyone on the planet and figure things out,” said the Grammy-nominated singer.

His next album isn’t the only thing he’s been working on from the comfort of his home. Back in April, he performed a Nirvana tribute livestream concert and ended up raising around $1 million for the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
