Potential Villian for “Bond 25” Doesn’t Know If He’s In or Out

Danny Boyle’s exit from the latest James Bond film has left a lot of developments shaken up.

The Trainspotting director pulled out of the project last month over what was reported to be creative differences.

The withdrawal has sent into jeopardy Bond 25 — which is the final film starring Daniel Craig as the suave spy — as the film is now without a director, as well as script.

French-Moroccan actor, Said Taghmaoui, has now revealed that he was due to star in the production but that his role is now in question.

“I’m supposed to do the next James Bond, playing the lead bad guy,” the Wonder Woman actor told The National. “I was cast by Danny Boyle, and just now he left the project, so of course there’s some uncertainty.”

“We don’t know who the director will be, and the producers don’t know if they’re going to go Russian or Middle East with the baddie right now. I literally just received a message saying: ‘If they go Middle East, it’s you. If they go Russian, it’s someone else.’”

There has been no announcement as to who will replace the Oscar-winning filmmaker, with the film expected to miss its original release date of 8 November 2019.
