Pretty Woman: The Musical will end its Broadway run on August 18.

By then, the show will have played 421 regular performances at the Nederlander Theatre since its debut last summer.

News of the musical’s final performance was announced by the producers on Wednesday.

The musical was based on the 1990 Garry Marshall film of the same name and followed Vivian Ward, a prostitute who finds her life changed when she embarks on a special contract with a millionaire playboy.

The musical featured original music and lyrics from Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell directed from a book by Garry Marshall and original Pretty Woman screenwriter J.F. Lawton.
