A 2-year-long courtship across continents has finally led to Meghan Markle marrying her Prince.

The American actress and sixth-in-line to the throne, Prince Harry, began dating in 2016 before becoming engaged in October last year.

While fans around the world tuned in to view the royal nuptials, guests including Oprah Winfrey, David and Victoria Beckham, George and Amal Clooney, Tom Hardy, Serena Williams, Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, Idris Elba, and Elton John filled St. George’s Chapel.

Meghan arrived at the church wearing a Givenchy gown and walked down the aisle to her groom flanked just by her page boys and flower girls before being joined by Prince Charles at the quire.

The 36-year-old’s father, Thomas Markle, announced earlier in the week that he would not be attending the wedding following a paparazzi scandal in which several staged photographs were published.

Upon seeing his bride, Prince Harry told her, “You look amazing. I’m so lucky.”

Prior to the couple exchanging vows, The Kingdom Choir performed a rendition of Stand By Me.

The eagerly-anticipated first kiss came as the pair left the chapel and stood on the steps before the crowd who cheered over their new Prince and Princess.

They will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex — a title bestowed on them by the Queen, who attended the event in lime and lavender.

Congratulations!
