English football fans all over the world celebrated on Saturday, and one of them was Prince William.
The team, who are currently competing in the FIFA World Cup in Russia, beat Sweden 2-0 over the weekend to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
For a second time during the week, the future king of England paid gratitude to the men representing the country on the pitch by taking over the royal Twitter account.
“You wanted to make history @England and you are doing just that. This has been an incredible #WorldCup run and we’ve enjoyed every minute. You deserve this moment – Football’s Coming Home! W,” wrote the Duke of Cambridge.
