Promising Young Woman has tapped some major talent.

Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Connie Britton and Adam Brody have joined the cast of the Emerald Fennell directorial debut.

The thriller stars Carey Mulligan as Cassie, “who everyone said was a promising young woman until a tragic event abruptly derailed her future. Now she’s a medical school drop-out, living at home with her worried parents and working at a coffee shop. It seems like she is at a standstill, except for the double life Cassie leads at night.”

Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Sam Richardson, and Molly Shannon are also starring in the thriller.

Fennell is directing from her own script. She will also produce the project with FilmNation’s Ben Browning. Margot Robbie is also attached to produce via her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.

Production began this week in Los Angeles.
