“Proven Innocent” Cancelled at Fox

Kelsey Grammar in Proven Innocent

There will be no second season for Fox’s Proven Innocent.

News of the cancelation comes as no surprise as the legal drama was Fox’s lowest-rated show for the 2018-19 season, averaging just over 2 million viewers per episode.

The series followed a legal team who worked at a wrongful conviction firm. It starred Rachelle Lefevre as team leader Madeline Scott, Kelsey Grammar as Gore Bellows, the prosecutor who previously put Madeline away for murder, as well as Vincent Kartheiser, Russell Hornsby, Riley Smith, Clare O’Connor, Francis Guinan, Persia White, Shanesia Davis, Karin Anglin, Caitlin Mehner, Nikki M. James, Meg Thalken, and Grace Fahey.

Proven Innocent hailed from Danny Strong and Stacy Greenberg.

It joinsThe Cool Kids, Lethal WeaponandThe Passage, all of which got the ax from Fox.
