Queens Of The Stone Age Announce a Vinyl Reissue of 4 Classic Albums

Queens of the Stone Age’s classics are on their way back to the shelves in vinyl format. The band announced on social media that 4 of its classic albums – Rated R, Songs for the Deaf, Lullabies to Paralyze and Era Vulgaris will be released on high-quality, 180 gram vinyl.

According to the announcement, Rated R and Songs for the Deaf will drop on November 22. Lullabies to Paralyze and Era Vulagaris will drop a month later on December 20. There is no word whether these reissues will include any exclusive new material.

This announcement joins the band’s frontman Josh Homme’s tease from last week about a possible world tour for Desert Sessions. The musical collective has recently resurfaced after 16 years of absence. It includes names such as Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters), Mike Kerr (Royal Blood), Carla Azar (Autolux, Jack White), Les Claypool (Primus), Matt Sweeney and Matt Berry (The IT Crowd). The 11th and 12th volumes of the Desert Session – Arrivederci Despair and Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels are due to be released on October 25. The collective’s official site presents fans with a list of dates and the writing “Coming Soon”.
