Oprah is in the building. And she has a hint of Quinta Brunson.

Not many people can bring the Queen of Daytime Talk to life on screen, but that is the Abbot Elementary star’s next task as she will portray Oprah Winfrey in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

As the title suggests, the biopic is about Weird Al, the Grammy Award-winning comedian who is best known for his musical parodies. Yankovic co-wrote the film’s script along with Eric Appel, who is helming the film. The synopsis reads: “From a conventional upbringing where playing the accordion was a sin, Al rebelled and made his dream of changing the words to world-renowned songs come true. An instant success and sex symbol, Al lives an excessive lifestyle and pursues an infamous romance that nearly destroys him.”

Brunson, who recently made history at the Primetime Emmy Award by becoming the first black woman to be nominated in the categories of Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Comedy Series (as an executive producer), and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, is joining an all-star cast. Yankovic will be played by Daniel Radcliffe, while Evan Rachel Wood will star as Madonna; Rainn Wilson will portray radio broadcaster Dr. Demento; and Julianne Nicholson and Toby Huss will feature as Weird Al’s parents, Mary and Nick.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is scheduled to premiere on Roku in the fall.
