The Constant Gardener star Rachel Weisz revealed in an interview with The New York Times she is expecting a child with her husband and James Bond actor Daniel Craig. This will be couple’s first child.
“I’ll be showing soon,” Weisz said. “Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”
Rachel Weisz already has an 11-year-old son, Henry, from her former relationship with director Darren Aronofsky, while Daniel Craig has a 25-year-old daughter, Ella, with his ex-wife, actress Fiona Loudon.
The 48-year-old actress also discussed her marriage with Craig, saying she is “very happy being married, very, very happy,” but added that she and her husband aren’t keen on making “coupledom” a part of their brand like some other celebrities.
“I really take my hat off to them,” she said. “But Daniel and I are really similar. We just literally don’t know how to do that. We’re just really crap at talking about our private lives.”
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig have been friends for many years and even collaborated on the movie Dream House. The two started dating in 2010 and got married the next year on a private ceremony in New York with just four guests in attendance.
