“Ray Donovan” is Coming Back For Season 7

Liev Schreiber in "Ray Donovan"

Ray Donovan has been one of Showtime’s biggest hits from its very first episode, and the network isn’t ready to part ways with it just yet. They’re bringing this crime drama for another season.

Ray Donovan tells the story of a successful Hollywood “fixer”, portrayed by Liev Schreiber. He takes care of dirty business for his high-profile clients, but running this shady operation becomes even more difficult after his father Mickey ends up leaving prison earlier than expected.

The first episode of Ray Donovan aired back in 2013, and it broke the record for the biggest premiere on Showtime, previously held by Homeland. In addition to winning over the viewers, this show was also well-received by the critics and other relevant organizations.

It won the Critics’ Choice Award for the most exciting new series back in 2013, and Golden Globes and Emmys quickly took notice. Ray Donovan received several nods at these awards ceremonies over the years, and Jon Voight even collected a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Mickey Donovan.
