Hollywood is mourning the sudden loss of Ray Liotta. The actor, who was best known for his role as Henry in Goodfellas, passed away in his sleep on Thursday. He was 67-years-old.

At the time of his death, Liotta was in the Dominican Republic where he was shooting the movie Dangerous Waters. It is not yet known whether his passing will affect the storyline or if the character will be recast.

The tragic news was met with tributes from stars who worked alongside the Emmy winner, as well as those who regarded him as a friend.

“Working with him was one of the great joys of my career,” said Seth Rogan who starred with the late actor in 2009’s Observe and Report. “A true legend of immense skill and grace.”

Pushing Daisies actress, Kristin Chenoweth, wrote on Twitter, “I adored you. I love knowing you all those years ago.”

Oscar winners, Viola Davis and Rosanna Arquette, also paid their respects, while Westworld star, Jeffrey Wright, expressed how pleased he was to have got the chance to tell Liotta what a fan he is of his work.

Liotta is survived by his daughter, Karsen, and fiancée, Jacy Nittolo.
