According to reports, a third installment of Legally Blonde could be on its way.
We were first introduced to Elle Woods and her chihuahua Bruiser in 2001 when Reese Witherspoon brought the lovable character to screen.
2 years later she returned in Legally Blonde: Red, White & Blonde, and in 2007 the story was turned into a Broadway musical which earned 7 Tony nominations.
Deadline has now claimed that the Oscar-winning actress is currently close to signing a deal which will reunite her with the original screenwriters of Legally Blonde for the film which will focus on female empowerment and be produced by Reese’s own Hello Sunshine production company.
