Red Notice is stacked with Hollywood’s biggest action stars including Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds.
The film centers around John Hartley (Johnson), a do-good FBI agent who brings in the biggest criminals in the world. During his task, he collides with two rival robbers mid-heist, Nolan Booth (Reynolds) and The Bishop (Gadot).
The trailer shows Johnson making a deal with Reynolds to find The Bishop and in turn, he’ll help Reynolds out of the international mess he’s become involved in.
Also starring in the film are The Umbrella Academy‘s Ritu Arya and Silicon Valley‘s Chris Diamantopoulos. Their roles have not been disclosed yet.
Red Notice was supposed to be released in theaters until Netflix purchased the film from Universal. It will be the streamer’s most expensive film to date. According to Variety, the budget is around $200 million.
Rawson Marshall Thurber of Skyscraper and We’re the Millers wrote and directed the film. Hiram Garcia, Johnson, and Dany Garcia produced it.
