Renée Zellweger is preparing to go somewhere over the rainbow.

The Oscar winner has been hard at work in preparation for her role as the renowned actress and Grammy winner, Judy Garland.

The Same Kind of Different as Me star will play Miss Garland in Judy, which will be set in the 1960s and will chronicle her infamous battles with alcohol and substance abuse.

Judy, who became a household name after playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, died as a result of an overdose in 1969 at age 47.

Pathé UK has now released the first photograph from the film, depicting Renée as the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

Olivier award winner, Rupert Goold, will direct the biopic based upon a script by Tom Edge who penned The Crown. Renée’s co-stars will include Harry Potter’s Michael Gambon, Rufus Sewell of The Man in the High Castle, and Bella Ramsey from Game of Thrones.

Renée, who famously sang in Chicago, is also expected to lend her voice to Judy Garland’s classic Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

So sing hallelujah, c’mon, get happy!
