Renée Zellweger has one Oscar and three Golden Globes under her belt, but there are still things she’s never done. Starring on her own TV show is one of them, but that’s about to change thanks to Netflix. She’s just been cast as the lead in their upcoming anthology series called What/If.

According to an official press release, this social thriller explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source materials and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life.

The first season consists of 10 episodes and it will center on a shady venture capitalist, played by Zellweger. It sure sounds intriguing, and Mike Kelley will be the one responsible for bringing her story to life. He was previously a showrunner of Swingtown and Revenge. His writing credits also include hit teen dramas One Tree Hill and The O.C.

Before joining What/If, Zellweger won roles in a couple more impressive projects her fans are looking forward to. She was cast as the lead in the upcoming biopic Judy, biographical musical-drama about the legendary Judy Garland.
