Grey Sloan Memorial is getting a new head of Pediatric Surgery.

As fans of the venerable ABC medical drama know, at the end of season 15’s finale, Justin Chamber’s Dr. Alex Karev was fired by Bailey (alongside Meredith Grey and Richard Webber). He then relocated to a new hospital where he serves as the Chief of Surgery.

Now, multiple outlets confirm that Shameless’ Richard Flood has joined Grey’s Anatomy. Flood is set to recur on season 16 of ABC’s hit medical drama. According to Entertainment Weekly, Flood is set to star as Dr. Cormac Hayes, the new at Grey Sloan Memorial.

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
