Blessings are being bestowed on Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva.
The pair has been married since April this year after reportedly getting together in 2014.
The 69-year-old and his publicist wife again met the Dalai Lama in Rotterdam in The Netherlands, where Alejandra revealed that she and The Second Best Marigold Hotel actor are expecting their first child together.
Richard is already a father to 18-year-old Homer from his marriage to actress Carey Lowell, while Alejandra is a mom to 5-year-old son, Albert.
In a picture shared by the 35-year-old on Instagram the Dalai Lama is seen placing his hand on her growing belly, with her writing: “Getting blessings for our precious to come… We couldn’t announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama.”
