Rick Ross isn’t allowing his health issues to slow him down. The 42-year-old rapper spoke with US Weekly on Tuesday and said he is now feeling good after being hospitalized back in March.

“I’m good, man. I’m good. Nothing has really changed,” – Ross told the magazine. “It’s about being my best self and focusing on the music. I’m enjoying life and living life to the fullest.”

Rick Ross also spoke about his upcoming 10th solo studio album, while also promising that a new single featuring Future will be released soon.

“I am putting the final touches on my new album called the Port of Miami 2,” said “Hustlin'” rapper. “You should be seeing the new single “Green Gucci Suit” featuring Future. You should be seeing that real soon.”

Ross also added that he will address his health issues on the upcoming album.

Rick Ross has been quite productive since 2015, releasing two mixtapes and two studio albums. His latest album, Rather You Than Me, came in 2017 peaking at number three on US Billboard 200. It received positive reviews from the critics who called it “smooth, enjoyable attempt to wrestle the spotlight back onto his solo work.”

He is also busy with the record company he founded in 2009, Maybach Music Group. Besides Ross, Maybach Music Group is also home to rappers Meek Mill, Wale, Gunplay, and Rockie Fresh among others.
