Lewis Capaldi became an overnight sensation thanks to the enormous success of his hit single “Someone You Loved,” and he’s ready to use his talents to help out other artists. The Grammy-nominated singer was in charge of co-writing Rita Ora’s new single “How To Be Lonely.”

The track is expected to be released on March 13th, and Capaldi revealed he originally wrote it for himself but went on to realize it simply wasn’t the right fit.

“Sometimes you write songs and you sing them and you go, ‘I’m f–king s–te at this’. I said, ‘I don’t know, I’m not very good at singing this’. And they go, ‘How about you get someone who can sing it?’” Capaldi explained in one of his Instagram stories.

“How to Be Lonely” is Ora’s first solo single since 2018, but she released several pretty epic collaborations last year – including “Carry On” with Kygo, and “Only Want You” featuring 6lack. Ora is currently working on her third album, but she’s yet to reveal crucial details about this record.
