It’s been five years since Rita Ora shared her last album with the world and its follow-up is just around the corner. The British singer announced the release of her third studio album You & I, and gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Praising You”.

Ora revealed her upcoming album is inspired by her marriage with Taika Waititi, and described it as “a high-spirited record about what it feels like to fall beautifully, instinctually in love with someone”.

“This album really means a lot to me. It’s like my diary of the last few years, it’s my sound, and it just feels so true to me and who I am today,” she said in an official statement.

The lead single “Praising You” sees Ora join forces with Fatboy Slim, and it features a reworked version of his 90s hit “Praise You”. She said it was a surreal experience to collaborate with him and pay homage to such a massive song from her childhood.

You & I will hit the shelves on July 14, and it will be Ora’s first studio album since Phoenix, which came out in 2018 and produced hit singles “Your Song”, “Anywhere”, and “Girls” ft. Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX.
