It’s been over six years since Robin Thicke released his last studio album, and he’s finally ready for a comeback. His next LP will be titled On Earth, and in Heaven and it will hit the shelves just in time for Valentine’s Day, on February 12th.

Thicke explained the meaning behind the album’s title in an official statement announcing this project. “When I saw the phrase On Earth, and in Heaven, I realized that’s what I’m singing about: the people who aren’t here and the people who are here that made me who I am. This music is the sunshine coming out after the rain,” explained the “Blurred Lines” singer.

Shortly before announcing this album, Thicke dropped a new single, “Fire It Up”, which was recorded for NFL’s 2020 Songs of the Season series.

Working on his new album isn’t the only thing keeping him busy—Thicke also serves as one of the judges on the hit competition show The Masked Singer.
