Transformers actress Megan Fox is off to her next project starring in the killer lion movie Rogue.
Fox will be playing Samantha O’Hara, a mercenary and team leader to soldiers who have been sent on a mission by the governor of an African country to rescue his daughter who’s been kidnapped by an Al-Shabaab-type organization. But, the mission doesn’t go as planned and they realize that there are more people that have been kidnapped. The team is stranded and they must fight off a gang of rebels as well as lions who’ve been used for breeding for the hunting industry and East Asian medicinal market.
M.J. Basset directed the film from a script co-written with Isabel Basset and Philip Winchester.
Philip Winchester also co-stars in the film with Jessica Sutton, Calli Taylor, Brandon Auret, Adam Deacon, and Sisanda Henna.
The thriller will be released by Lionsgate on demand and digital platforms on August 28 and on Blue-ray and DVD on Septemeber 1.
