You might think that if you had an Academy Award, 3 more nominations, and a few Golden Globes under your Dior belt, that you would be quite pleased with your acting role selections.

But, it appears as though Jennifer Lawrence still has some regrets.

The Hollywood girl-next-door revealed on the Howard Stern Show that she really wanted to be cast as the bewildered Alice in the Tim Burton production of Alice in Wonderland, claiming that she is still “devastated” over not getting the role.

During the interview with the shock-jock, Jennifer said that, “the one thing that really killed me, like the only time I’ve ever been truly devastated by losing an audition ― ’cause most of the time you’re like, ‘Ah, wasn’t meant to be, move on, what can you do?’ ― was Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.”

The role in the 2010 film, of course, went to Australian actress, Mia Wasikowska, with the Red Sparrow star graciously saying that Mia delivered a perfect performance.

Let’s hope that Jen’s future roles give her reason to smile like Cheshire cat.
