Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro joined forces to record a collaborative EP titled RR, and this project was full of surprises. The couple promoted its release by dropping a music video for the lead single “Beso” and used this song to announce their engagement.
The music video for “Beso” (the Spanish word for “kiss”) features candid footage of some of the moments the couple spent together all around the world. From traveling everywhere from France to Japan, to recording and performing by each other’s side, they truly had the time of their lives over the course of the last year—but they saved the best for last.
The video closes with the emotional Rosalía showing her engagement ring to the camera, with tears streaming down her face. She can be heard saying, “Oh my god, my mascara is running down,” before kissing her new fiancé.
Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro met when they worked on his debut studio album Afrodisíaco and started dating in late 2019 but only made their relationship official in 2021. The couple’s joint EP RR was released on March 24, and it features a total of three songs including “Beso”, “Vampiros”, and “Promesa”.
