The hugely successful franchise of RuPaul’s Drag Race is expanding to Australia and New Zealand in 2021.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under is set to stream exclusively on WOW Presents Plus in the U.S. and other internationally on Stan in Australia and TVNZ OnDemand in New Zealand.

RuPaul will executive produce and host the new series with Drag Race staple Michelle Visage as a judge.

“I cannot wait for everyone to see that Down Under queens have some of the biggest charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talents in the world. Thank you to Stan and TVNZ OnDemand for providing a platform for these outrageous drag artists to share their heart, soul, and humor,” said RuPaul.

The series will feature the fiercest queens across Australia and New Zealand competing for the title of Down Under’s first Drag Superstar. The queens will show off their high fashion, “werkroom”, challenges, and lip-sync for your life battles. The third judge as well as celebrity guest appearances will be announced later this year.

Production starts this week in New Zealand and the series is set to premiere later this year.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under is the latest international edition of the franchise. It joins UK, Canada, Thailand, Chile, Holland, and recently announced Spain.
