Multiple outlets report that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has been renewed for season 2.
That’s right, the global Drag Race series will return for another season and will crown another Queen of Great Britain.
The announcement of renewal comes just over halfway through the show’s freshman run. With season 1 finale scheduled to November 21, season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in 2020.
“I want to thank the BBC and all our fans for their overwhelming support of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK,” said RuPaul. “This season’s queens proved that Britain’s Got Charisma Uniqueness Nerve and Talent and I want to see more! Here’s to another season of love, laughter, and light.”
“The response to the current U.K. series has been nothing short of dragulous. Our viewers have really taken the show and the amazing queens to their hearts,” added Kate Phillips of the BBC added.
Applications are currently being accepted to join the cast.
