Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie just filmed Barbie by each other’s side and it seems they might reunite sooner than we thought. The Gray Man actor is eying the role in the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven reboot alongside his Barbie costar.

This project is still in the early stages of development and it’s based on the script penned by Carrie Solomon. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the action will take place in Europe in the 1960s. The four-time Emmy winner Jay Roach (Bombshell) is expected to come on board as director. Production will most likely kick off next spring, but Warner Bros is yet to officially confirm the project.

The original Ocean’s Eleven franchise, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts, launched with the release of the first film in 2001. It was followed by sequels Ocean’s Twelve (2004), Ocean’s Thirteen (2007), and female-centric spinoff Ocean’s 8 (2018).

Robbie was first linked to the project when it was initially announced back in May. If Gosling officially joins her, this will mark their second collaboration following Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, where he plays Ken. The two-time Oscar nominee most recently appeared in Netflix action flick The Gray Man, and he’s attached to upcoming films The Fall Guy, Wolfman, The Actor, and Project Hail Mary.
