The ’80s action series The Fall Guy is coming to our silver screens next year, and it’s going to be fire! The first trailer for this action comedy is finally here, and it stars Ryan Gosling as a fearless stuntman who’s ready to risk it all to save the star of his latest blockbuster.
According to the film’s official logline, The Fall Guy centers on Colt Seavers, a washed-up stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on his physical and mental health. He’s drafted back into service when Tom Ryder, the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno—goes missing.
Instead of leaving things to the professionals, the film’s ruthless producer taps Colt to find the missing star in an attempt to keep his disappearance a secret. He must pull his most dangerous stunt yet after being pulled into a sinister, criminal plot while looking for the missing actor.
In addition to Gosling as Colt Seavers, The Fall Guy stars Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer) as Jody Moreno and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Bullet Train) as Tom Ryder. Winston Duke (Black Panther), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once), and Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches) round out the film’s supporting cast.
The Fall Guy is scheduled to be released by Universal Pictures on March 1, 2024.
