U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and former Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid enjoyed getting married so much that they decided to do it once again. Lochte and Rae Reid exchanged vows on Sunday at an intimate wedding held in Palm Springs, California. The couple chose John Legend‘s “You & I” for their first dance while the wedding was attended by 100 guests according to People.
Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid started dating back in 2016, getting engaged in the same year. In June 2017, Kayla gave birth to their first child, son Caiden Zane Lochte, and the couple married at a civil ceremony in January 2018. They wanted to have a wedding ceremony as well but decided to wait until their son is big enough that he can take part in the wedding. The 15-months-old Caiden ended up having a big role by serving as a ring bearer.
“Since we had Caiden, we both wanted him to be a part of [our wedding] in some way,” – Lochte told People.
“We wanted Caiden to be old enough to walk down the aisle. One of our visions was to have him be able to be the ring bearer, so it’s perfect timing!” – added Rae Reid.
