Good news American Horror Story fans—Ryan Murphy is working on a new anthology spinoff, American Horror Stories.

The AHS co-creator and executive producer made the announcement during a Zoom call which he posted on Instagram and “reminisced about the good times…the spin-off we’re doing called “American Horror Stories” (one hour contained episodes)…when we will start filming the next season of the mothership…and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I’m glad we caught up. I miss everyone!”

The new series will consist of “one hour contained” episodes and each episode will be its own individual ghost story and there will be cast members from the main show.

News of American Horror Stories comes a month after Murphy unveiled the creepy trailer for Season 10 of AHS. In February he announced that Macaulay Culkin will be joining the upcoming season which is set to premiere in fall. AHS has been renewed for three more seasons and will run at least through Season 13.
