Netflix gave us one of their most acclaimed teen dramas with S-x Education, but all good things must come to an end. The streaming giant dropped the first full trailer for the final season of the beloved series ahead of its premiere next week.
The new trailer sees Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa), and other students from Moordale Secondary School trying to start anew at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Season 4 also brings new challenges for Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), who’s now studying in America, and Dr. Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson), as she tries to raise a new baby all on her own.
The Season 4 trailer also teases the return of many other fan favorites, including Connor Swindells as Adam Groff, Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson Marchetti, Alistair Petrie as Michael Groff, Mimi Keene as Ruby Matthews, and Aimee Lou Wood as Aimee Gibbs. Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy also appears in the trailer, as Maeve’s new tutor in the United States.
S-x Education premiered on Netflix in 2019, and quickly became one of its most acclaimed shows, even winning the best comedy series award at the International Emmy Awards. Its fourth and final season will premiere on Netflix on September 21.
