Bringing things back from the dead is the core concept of the Jurassic World franchise and it seems it’s doing it now behind the scenes, as well as in front of the cameras. The upcoming Jurassic World 3 will bring back the actors from the original Jurassic Park: Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
An official announcement confirmed the return of Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcolm. The announcement didn’t specify whether the characters will be the main protagonists of the film or will they just make short cameos. Although the three actors have appeared in sequels to the original Steven Spielberg film, this is the first time they will play together. Goldblum was the only one of the trio to return to The Lost World: Jurassic Park while Neill starred in the third installment Jurassic Park 3 with Dern appeared for a brief moment at the beginning of the film.
Jurassic World 3 will be directed by Colin Trevorrow who will write the script alongside Emily Carmichael from Pacific Rim Uprising. Plot details of the new movie are strictly kept secret.
