Could Sam Smith be going for EGOT?

The Too Good At Goodbyes singer is very good at winning awards, having already scooped 4 Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, as well as an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

The 26-year-old might very well be going for the coveted combination of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony as he is now venturing into television.

The singer has co-written the theme song for the new animated series, Watership Down.

Based on the novel by Richard Adams about a group of rabbits fighting for survival as their habitat is threatened, it will star the voices of James McAvoy, Olivia Colman, Ben Kingsley, John Boyega, Nicholas Hoult, Gemma Arterton, and Daniel Kaluuya.

Smith will lend his voice to the theme song, Fire on Fire, saying, “I am so excited and honoured to be a part of this new adaptation of Watership Down. This story is so powerful and timeless, and it has been thrilling to work with director Noam Murro and his team and the incredible [songwriter] Steve Mac on this song for it. I hope everyone loves it as much as I do.”

We’re definitely not the only ones who do.
