It’s been almost five years since Saoirse Ronan met Wes Anderson on the set of The Grand Budapest Hotel, and they’re finally getting ready for a new collaboration. The three-time Oscar nominee is the latest star to join the cast of his next film The French Dispatch.

This exciting project is set in the 20th-century Paris, and it’s been described as a “love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper”. We still don’t know much about the plot, or the characters, but they’ll be portrayed by the likes of Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, and Timothée Chalamet.

Saoirse Ronan recently wrapped up filming for the upcoming Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women, and it’s only fitting that her next project reunites her with another brilliant director she adored long before they worked together.

“The thing that amazes me about Wes, and I’ve seen almost all of his films is that, is that they’re all great, they’re all brilliant. His films don’t make that much money but everyone who loves them, loves them,” said Ronan after meeting Anderson on the set of The Grand Budapest Hotel.
