James Gunn is rounding out the ensemble of Superman: Legacy, and he found another amazing cast member in Sara Sampaio. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel will star as Eve Teschmacher in this highly-anticipated superhero movie.
The Superman comics portray Eve Teschmacher as Lex Luthor’s assistant turned love interest and right hand. Sampaio will follow in the footsteps of Valerie Perrine and Andrea Brooks, who portrayed this character in Christopher Reeve-led Superman films and The CW’s Supergirl, respectively.
Sampaio is best known as the former Victoria’s Secret model, who also worked as an ambassador for such brands as Giorgio Armani and Calzedonia. She made her acting debut on an episode of Billions and appeared in music videos by Nick Jonas, Kanye West, and Selena Gomez.
The cast of Superman: Legacy was pretty star-studded long before Eve Teschmacher hopped on board. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan will lead this superhero flick as Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane, while the supporting cast includes Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, and Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen.
Superman: Legacy will kick off production this winter in Atlanta and it’s expected to hit the theaters on July 11, 2025.
