Sarah Michelle Geller has landed a new gig.
That’s right — the Buffy The Vampire Slayer star is set on making her return to primetime TV, boarding a new show currently at development at Fox.
The series, titled, Other People’s Houses, hails from Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder and is based on a novel by Abbi Waxman.
Described as a dramedy, “somewhere between Big Little Lies and Catastrophe,” Other People’s Houses follows “nine people who live in Los Angeles’ Larchmont Village neighborhood.” The characters “navigate the emotional ups and downs of being parents, partners, neighbors and friends,” through social media, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Gellar’s character is smack in the center of all the drama. She’s a mom and social media influencer named Anne Porter, who appears to be having an affair.
Gellar’s last regular TV role was 2013’s The Crazy Ones.
