Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans worked by each other’s side on several occasions in the past, and they’re getting ready to reunite again. The Marvel co-stars are set to play lead roles in Dexter Fletcher’s upcoming romantic action-adventure movie Ghosted.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Hollywood Reporter described this project as “a high-concept romantic action-adventure in the vein of Romancing the Stone.” This 1984 classic starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner and centered on a romance novelist who finds herself embarking on an adventure of a lifetime with a mercenary rogue.

Dexter Fletcher, whose previous credits include Eddie the Eagle and Rocketman, is set to direct this exciting project. The script was written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who previously worked on Deadpool and Zombieland scripts by each other’s side.

Johansson and Evans most notably tamed up to play Black Widow and Captain America in the MCU movies, but they were familiar with each other long before being cast in these iconic roles. During the mid-2000s, they also starred together in comedies The Perfect Score and The Nanny Diaries.
