The Mandalorian has sadly come to an end… but Baby Yoda will be back.

Even if you’ve never seen a single Star Wars film (you really have been living in a galaxy far, far away), it’s almost impossible to have escaped the Baby Yoda memes. Each week, screenshots of the infant flooded social media, and he became the toy to gift during the holidays.

Aside from the popularity of The Child (as he is actually termed in the series), the Pedro Pascal-led show won favour from fans and critics alikescoring a 94% approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes

The man who brought us The Mandalorian, Jon Favreau, has now confirmed that season 2 is happening — and it’s not that far in the future. The Lion King director revealed shortly after season 1’s finale that the sophomore season will be coming to Disney+ in Fall 2020.

So far, no other details about the show’s second season have been disclosed, but as long as Baby Yoda is there, we will be too!
