It’s been forever since we’ve seen Jennifer Lopez on the big screen, but she’s about to bless the world with a new movie! Trailer for her upcoming project Second Act just dropped and it looks like a classic J. Lo rom-com.

Working Girl meets Maid In Manhattan in this promising comedy about Maya, a wistful 40-year-old who never fulfilled her dreams but suddenly gets a chance to do so. She’s devastated after being passed over for a promotion at her dead-end job. Thankfully, Maya has a couple of great friends who came up with a perfect way to cheer her up.

One of them takes control of her social media presence and makes her look like a big shot. Turns out fake business degree and photoshopped pics with the Obamas are all you need to get your foot in the door. Maya ends up getting a job at an elite corporation in Manhattan, but can her lie last forever? We’ll get the answer on November 21, when Second Act opens in cinemas. It also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Milo Ventimiglia and Leah Remini.

Apart from doing some voice-over work here and there, Lopez neglected her movie career in the last few years. We haven’t seen her in the theaters since 2015 when she played the lead in the erotic thriller The Boy Next Door. No matter how much you might miss her, J. Lo’s absence is fully justified. She’s been busy working on her new album and starring in NBC’s crime drama Shades of Blue.
