Pigeons are everywhere!
Disney has dropped the first official trailer of its Christmas Day debut pic Spies in Disguise.
The animated feature is based on Lucas Martell’s 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible and is directed by Troy Quane and Nick Bruno.
The film’s voice cast is led by Will Smith and Tom Holland who star as polar opposites Lance Sterling and Walter Beckett respectively. The one is smooth and confident and the other well, is not, but when events take an unexpected turn, “the unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic pigeon.”
The clip features the Lance being transformed into the wide-eyed bird by Beckett who justifies his choice of fowl saying “Pigeons are everywhere and nobody notices them. It’s the most perfect form a spy could take.”
Rashida Jones as Agent Marcy Kappel, DJ Khaled as Ears, Karen Gillan as Eyes, Ben Mendelsohn and Masi Oka also star.
Spies in Disguise premieres this Christmas.
