Selena Gomez is mostly focused on her acting career these days, but it seems she’s finally getting ready to share some new music with the world. The Grammy-nominated artist teased a collaboration with Nigerian rising star Rema in a cryptic post on social media.

Gomez shared a photo hanging out with Rema accompanied with a cheeky caption “coming soon”. This post comes shortly after she sparked rumors about working on a new album by posting TikTok from a recording studio and dropping hints about new music in her interviews.

The singer’s latest album Rare came out in 2020, and it produced her first chart-topping hit “Lose You to Love Me”. It was followed by her Spanish-language EP Revelación in 2021, which earned Gomez her very first Grammy nomination for the best Latin pop album.

The former Disney star shifted focus to acting in recent years, earning an Emmy nomination as an executive producer of her Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. She didn’t drop any solo songs in the meantime, but that didn’t stop her from teaming up with other artists. The list of her recent collaborations includes Coldplay’s “Let Somebody Go”, Camilo’s “999”, and Blackpink’s “Ice Cream”.
