21 Laps and STXfilms’ Dollhouse has found their producer and lead in Selena Gomez.
Dollhouse, a horror movie set in New York City’s elite fashion scene is a psychological thriller that has the spirit of Black Swan.
“Selena’s involvement is an exciting direction for this project. She is supremely talented as both a star and a producer,” said STXfilms Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson.
Over recent years, Gomez has been getting more involved behind the camera. She recently served as executive producer of Broken Hearts Gallery and she will be reprising her role in Hotel Transylvania 4 as well as executive producing. Her other producing credits include 13 Reason’s Why and Living Undocumented.
Currently, the singer is starring in Selena+Chef, a quarantine cooking show and her next role is in Only Murders in the Building opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short. Her other acting roles include The Dead Don’t Die, The Big Short, and Fundamentals of Caring.
