Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen previously starred by each other’s side in the Neighbors movie and they’re finally ready for a reunion. The new trailer for their Apple TV+ comedy Platonic is here, and it centers on two friends on the verge of mid-life crises, trying to rekindle their friendship.

According to its official logline, this series centers on a platonic pair of former best friends approaching midlife, who reconnect after a long rift, but their friendship becomes all-consuming and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way.

In addition to Rogen and Byrne, this series will also star Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, Andrew Lopez, Alisha Wainwright, and Guy Branum in supporting roles. It was created for Apple TV+ by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, and it’s arriving on this streaming service on May 24. The first three episodes will premiere right away, while the rest will be released on a weekly basis until July 12.

Rogen and Byrne are coming on board as the show’s executive producers, and this isn’t the first collaboration between the duo. Casting them in this show was a brilliant move considering they’ve previously shared great comedic chemistry in the hit comedy Neighbors and its sequel Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
